David joined the firm in 2014 after spending the first eleven years of his career as a criminal prosecutor in Adams and Weld counties respectively. David is an experienced trial attorney who specializes in representing public entities and public employees in a variety of civil, criminal, and administrative contexts. He has successfully tried numerous criminal and civil matters to jury in both state and federal court. His practice includes appeals at both the federal and state level as well as before various administrative boards and commissions. Additionally, David represents individuals who are considered targets, subjects or witnesses in state and federal proceedings to include grand jury and critical incident investigations. Other practice areas include representation of public safety organizations in collective bargaining, grievance, and arbitration matters.
