ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Heather D. Kuhlman
Heather has spent her entire career as a defense attorney – it is what she knows and what she’s passionate about. As a criminal defense attorney, Heather spent most of her time in the courtroom, gaining invaluable experience representing thousands of clients charged with a vast array of criminal offenses including sexual assault, assault, domestic violence, fraud, and drug possession and sales. Heather has a proven track record of fighting for and securing successful outcomes for her clients in hearings and at trial. Her practice is focused on zealously advocating for her clients to ensure that they are afforded due process of law and fair and just outcome to their case.
Heather joined Bruno, Colin, Goddard & Lowe in 2020 and while she may be the newest member of firm, she has never felt more at home. After graduating from CU Boulder with a Bachelors in Art History, Heather went adventuring in Australia and Indonesia. While she enjoyed her time traveling, she couldn’t stay away from Colorado for too long. Heather returned to Denver in 2012 to attend law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Heather participated in the criminal defense clinic for two years, which allowed her to represent real clients in the courtroom while she was still a student. A third generation attorney, Heather is highly-motivated and tenacious in her representation of clients in civil, criminal, and administrative matters.
